To the best of my knowledge, no existing website allows you to visually compare a single-chainring system with a triple-chainring system. Yet this comparison is essential: a triple crankset provides a very wide range of gear ratios, but with many overlapping combinations.
To maintain a smooth and continuous progression between gears, cyclists often need to shift down to another chainring and then adjust one or two cassette cogs. With the “continuous curve” graph sorted by cassette teeth, these transitions and overlaps become immediately visible.
